Storage usage in Boombox works a couple of different ways.
Using the Inbox Tool: If you are managing a project and request collaborators to submit files through an inbox, the storage consumed will always come from your account if you created the inbox.

Collaborator Uploads in Shared Folders or Projects: If collaborators upload files into a shared folder or project, the storage impacted will correlate with their respective accounts unless additional storage configurations affect distribution.
