Locally, you will see all the projects that you have access to whether you are the primary admin, an editor or a commenter.

The actions that you can complete locally are controlled by your access level to a project.

If you are an editor for a project -

  • You will be able to add and rename a folder locally, and folder name will change in the boombox app.

  • You will be able to add or delete a folder locally, and it will be deleted in the boombox app.

  • If you rename or delete a project, this only impacts you locally.

If you are a commenter with download access for a project -

  • You will be able to add a file to a folder locally, but an error badge will be displayed because you don’t have permission to add a file to the project in the app. The file will not be added to the project in the boombox app.

  • You will be able to rename a file in a folder locally, but the file name will return to its original title once it syncs back to the boombox app.

  • You will be able to rename a folder locally, but the folder name will not change in the boombox app.

  • You will be able to delete a file within a folder locally, but the file will return once it syncs back to the boombox app.

  • You will be able to delete a folder locally, but the folder will return once it syncs back to the boombox app.

  • If you rename or delete a project, this only impacts you locally.

If you are a commenter (without download access) for a project -

  • You will only be able to access projects, folders and files in the Boombox web app.
