To delete your free plan on Boombox, you must first log in to your account.
Access your account settings by clicking your avatar in the top right corner. Select "Account Settings" on the profile tab, and press "Delete Account"
Here's what you can expect:
You will not be able to log back in to your account.
Files and projects that have not been shared will be deleted.
Shared files, tasks, and comments will still exist, but without reference to your name or ID.
You will not receive any notifications related to past activities.
To cancel payment without account deletion
Follow the subscription cancellation steps outlined above.
Ensure your subscription has successfully been downgraded to the free plan. Active payments are tied to existing subscriptions, so you must cancel your subscription to stop payments entirely.
If you are on a paid subscription, you won't be able to delete your account until the subscription is inactive. To cancel your subscription, access your account by clicking on your profile avatar, navigate to the "Account Settings" section, click the "Billing Tab," and select the option to downgrade to the free plan. This will cancel your subscription and stop any subsequent charges at the end of your billing cycle. Once your paid subscription ends, you can proceed to delete your account.
